New Solo show in Knoxville, TN Sept 30th

Hello all I will have a new series of work up in Knoxville sept. 30th. Here is info on the show:
The "Here" is a series focusing on the culture and history of East Tennessee and the Appalachian Mountains, the artist's home. The "There" consists of limited edition prints from street art created throughout Europe, the Mediterranean, and the United States.

This is kind of my goodbye to Knoxville for now as me and the wife are moving to Asia in June to be teaching English and be doing all of the street art throughout Asia. This is by no means the last show in the states before then, I have many in the works. But then I will be doing shows in Asia so if you live in the states then you nee to come to this and the others. I digress...

PLEASE BRING EVERYONE AND LETS HANG OUT!!!

You can view them under the just like hope section in the artwork. The piece above is an enormous installation created out of found wood and lights installed. The chest area can be opened and it reveals mason jars with lights installed in them. It has to be seen in person. when you open in it almost blinds you very interactive and fun.

The golden flowers symbolize hope spring it up from the ground and a man grasping it. Got to talk to a lot of people while putting this one up

still has a whole lot to do with hope and it springin up from the ground. That is all I will say about that I think that it will be pretty dang moving hopefully my best yet.

so last friday was the opening to my solo show in Birmingham, AL as Campground studios. We had a could turn out considering that half the people who were gunna come out were in their bathrooms praying oh God dont take me now! If you couldnt make it out to the opening please let me know I wanna meet you still. We will be having a closing shindig on Fri the 13th and maybe a in-between party to have a hang out time should be a lot of fun. you really need to see it though its a lot of installations and such... I built a brick wall in the gallery and stuff like that oh and I covered a lot of floor in dirt.

Hey been putting a ton of work into this. will have street art prints available and some huge pieces on paper and semi sculptural found wood pieces. I think its gunna be pretty killer but you should come decide for yourself The title of the show is “Just Like Hope”
